Riverbank Guesthouse is centrally located in fun Wilton Manors, within walking distance of the Wilton Drive entertainment district, yet peacefully set on the banks of the Middle River. It is a 4 mile (approx. 15 minute) drive to Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Wilton Manors is known as America’s second gayest city (measured by percentage of gay couples – after Provincetown). Its 2 square miles are completely surrounded by the two forks of the Middle River, leading to the moniker “Island City”. Wilton Drive, the city’s arts and entertainment district, has become a destination for LGBT+ tourism. The “Drive” is approximately 20 minutes walking distance from the Riverbank Guesthouse.
The second main attraction of the area is the beach. Fort Lauderdale Beach is 4 miles (about 15 minutes drive with usual traffic) away. And world famous clothing optional Haulover Beach is 24 miles (50 minutes) away.
