Wilton Manors is known as America’s second gayest city (measured by percentage of gay couples – after Provincetown). Its 2 square miles are completely surrounded by the two forks of the Middle River, leading to the moniker “Island City”. Wilton Drive, the city’s arts and entertainment district, has become a destination for LGBT+ tourism. The “Drive” is approximately 20 minutes walking distance from the Riverbank Guesthouse.
The second main attraction of the area is the beach. Fort Lauderdale Beach is 4 miles (about 15 minutes drive with usual traffic) away. And world famous clothing optional Haulover Beach is 24 miles (50 minutes) away.

Recently stayed at Ken’s place. I had the riverside suite, it had a pretty view of the canal. Pretty landscaping and the pool was lovely. Very private. Nice shower in bathroom and walkable to the drive though I Ubered everywhere. I did walk to the gas station near by and that was simple. I’d definitely look into renting this Airbnb again when I visit this area.

had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The check-in process was smooth and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. The space was spotless, and cozy. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches like coffee, toiletries, and local recommendations.
The neighborhood was quiet and close to restaurants and shops.
Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Simple yet lovely place in a great quiet corner of Wilton Manors. The pool area is so gorgeous. Room was comfy and had everything I needed for a quick weekend visit. Would stay again!
