Wilton Manors is known as America’s second gayest city (measured by percentage of gay couples – after Provincetown). Its 2 square miles are completely surrounded by the two forks of the Middle River, leading to the moniker “Island City”. Wilton Drive, the city’s arts and entertainment district, has become a destination for LGBT+ tourism. The “Drive” is approximately 20 minutes walking distance from the Riverbank Guesthouse.
The second main attraction of the area is the beach. Fort Lauderdale Beach is 4 miles (about 15 minutes drive with usual traffic) away. And world famous clothing optional Haulover Beach is 24 miles (50 minutes) away.

Staying at kem’s guest suite was perfect for my partner and I’s weekend getaway. We chose staying at the beautiful pool over going to the beach a few times and we loved how close everything was to the night life. Will definitely be back for sure!
